The black, yellow, and blue colourways of the Nike 22 set are used in Portugal, with the sleeve sponsor retained but the Respect patch dropped.
A couple months into the season, the empty space on the sleeves is filled with both a large sponsor logo (Agriloja) and a small Respect (or “Respeito”) badge.
The league rebrands from the Liga NOS to the Liga Portugal Bwin, so the NOS logo on the sleeve is eliminated. The league takes this opportunity to refresh the colour palette as well, with charcoal, teal, and purple giving way to black, orange, and yellow.
Three new colour options are adopted as the Nike 20 line is released – of particular note is the charcoal grey replacing black, with the Primeira Liga being one of the few professional leagues outfitted by Nike to do this. Black socks, however, are worn with all three jerseys.
Referees with FIFA badges now wear them on the right chest pocket, with the Portuguese logo now a mainstay on the left side of all shirts.
Orange replaces red for the 2019-20 season, with matching socks also introduced for the blue and orange kits.
Referees switch from Lacatoni to the Nike 18 line. On the new kits, the competition logo moves to the right sleeve, the shirts are now sponsor-less, and a new monochrome national referee badge is introduced.
Lacatoni introduces a yellow kit for 2017-18. Additionally, the shoulder trim is thinned out on all kits, grey is eliminated as an accent colour, and the RE/MAX logo switches sleeves.
Portuguese referees switch to Portuguese manufacturer Lacatoni, which replaces Adidas. Their first designs feature kits in black, blue, and red, matching socks for all, and a distinct, contrasting shoulder section.
